1. Entrance Exam (SET 2025)
- Candidates must appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), which is an online, computer-based exam.
- The exam consists of multiple sections assessing General English, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
2. Shortlisting for Further Rounds
- Based on the SET score, each participating Symbiosis institute releases its individual cutoff marks for different programs.
- Candidates meeting the cutoff are shortlisted for the next selection rounds.
3. Selection Rounds (PI/WAT/ST-PI)
Candidates who clear the SET cutoff will go through further evaluation based on:
- Personal Interview (PI): Assessing communication, general knowledge, and confidence.
- Written Ability Test (WAT): Candidates are given a topic to write about, testing analytical and writing skills.
- Studio Test (ST-PI) (For applicable programs like Media Studies): A practical test for creative and media-related programs.
4. Merit List & Seat Allotment
- A final merit list is prepared based on the SET score, PI, and WAT/ST-PI performance.
- Candidates are ranked and categorized under merit, waitlist, or rejected categories.
- The seat allotment depends on availability, rank, category, and preferences filled during the selection rounds.
5. Admission Confirmation & Fee Payment
- Selected candidates will receive an admission offer from the respective institute.
- They must confirm their acceptance by paying the required admission fee within the specified deadline.
- If a candidate fails to pay within the given timeframe, their seat may be offered to the next candidate on the waitlist.
6. Document Verification & Final Admission
- Candidates must submit their original documents (marksheets, ID proof, category certificates, etc.) for verification.
- Upon successful verification and completion of the formalities, candidates will be officially enrolled in the Symbiosis institute of their choice.
